DC B’pore orders probe
Bandipore, May 4: The deputy commissioner Bandipore has ordered a probe into fake state subject certificate racket, after 20 youth were found with fraud state subjects.
Sources told Greater Kashmir, that Assistant commissioner revenue Bandipora, Muzaffar Ahmed was surprised to see state subject certificates issued from his office without his signature on Saturday when some youth approached him for attestation after being asked by CRPF authorities.

"Following this ACR and DC convened a meeting, and ordered inquiry to look into the matter besides attaching the Patwari whom youth accused of issuing certificates in lieu of bribe," they said, adding youth alleged that Patwari issued certificates after taking Rs 6000 from each candidate.
Sources said the accused Patwari deceived youth as they were in hurry to get certificates for CRPF recruitment.
The Patwari has been attached with Tehsil office Sumbal till completion of inquiry.
When contacted, DC Bandipora, M S Sood acknowledged that inquiry had been ordered into the matter. "The report would be submitted within 20-days," he further added.
