Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Dr. Syed Abid Rasheed Shah, Monday chaired a District Level Screening-cum-Coordination Committee (DLSC) meeting during which a total of 15 cases were considered for compensation.
The cases included 3 for ex-gratia relief and 12 for cash compensation in lieu of job of which 2 were cleared for the former and 4 for the latter. Each case sanctioned for ex-gratia relief will get an assistance of one lakh rupees whereas those sanctioned for cash compensation in lieu of job will get a cash assistance of four lakh rupees each. ADC Srinagar among other members of the Committee attended the meeting.
