DC Shopian, CCF Kashmir take stock of people’s dev issues at Chotipora

The District Development Commissioner Shopian, Chaudhary Muhammad Yasin along with Visiting Officer, Chief Conservator of Forests Farooq Ahmad Geelani, Sunday visited village Chotipora to listen to the demands and issues raised by the people of the area.

While addressing the gathering, the DDC said that the aim of B2V3 programme is to uplift the socio-economic condition of rural inhabitants. He said that B2V3 programme invites innovative ideas and suggestions from all stakeholders and asked the officers to play an important role and provide best services to the people.

   

He directed the officers to fully utilise various communication tools to spread massive awareness about the programme so that it can cover the maximum population.

The DDC said that special focus should be laid on coverage of beneficiaries under different scholarship schemes, works under CSSs and informed that like Jan Abhiyan, B2V3 will also be monitored very closely to assess the ground level situation in the district. He also said that 3100 Domicile certificates have been issued in the district sofar by the administration.

The DDC laid special focus on awareness on Covid-19 during B2V3 and strictly emphasized to ensure adherence to all covid-19 related guidelines. On the occasion, Visiting Officer patiently listened to the demands and issues projected by the common masses of Chotipora Halqa and assured them that every possible help will be taken to redress their grievances and complaints at an earliest.
