The District Development Commissioner (DDC), Kupwara, Anshul Garg Wednesday visited various areas of Langate constituency and chaired two separate interaction programmes at Langate and Manzpora-Qalamabad.
At Manzpora, public representatives including BlockDevelopment Chairperson (BDC), Tahir Ahmad Mir raised various demands beforethe DDC which include up gradation of receiving station, macadamization ofChotipora-Mawar road and construction of filtration plant.
At Langate, various public representatives including membersof Municipal Committee, Langate and BDC Chairperson raised various issues facedby people.
He directed officers to prioritize execution of publicwelfare plans. The DDC directed Executive Engineer R&B and BDO concerned forclosely monitoring the ongoing works in the area for their timely completion.He asked the PDD authorities to submit utilization certificates of thecompleted works under Back to Village Programme.
Meanwhile, the DDC visited Sub District Hospital, Langatewherein he inspected Isolation Ward established recently in view of preventivemeasures against Novel Coronavirus.
