President of J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) Ghulam Ahmed Mir on Monday termed deferment of assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir as disappointing.
While chairing party’s review meeting here Mir said censured the central government Govt for deferment of Assembly election in the state and described this move as arbitrary.
“Centre has once again proved that it’s not interested to give people an elected government thereby sacrificing their urges and aspirations in all the three regions,” he added.
Mir also censured the central government for”mishandling” the situation in the Valley and the deferment of AssemblyElections. “It is indicative of lack of interest to restore democratic set upon the part of Centre. People of all the three regions are disappointed overECI’s decision,” he added.
