Demise of Fida Ali Shawl widely condoled

The demise of former deputy director of the Information departmrnt Fida Ali Shawl was widely condoled on Monday.

In a statement issued here, NC President Farooq Abdullah and Vice President Omar Abdullah expressed grief over the demise of Shawl.

   

In his condolence message, the NC president said that he would be remembered for his meritorious service to the Department of Information while the NC vice president said Ali was a meritorious writer, journalist and civil servant, who rendered commendable service to the Information department.

Senior NC leaders Ali Muhammad Sagar, Mustafa Kamal, Nasir AslamWani and others also condoled the demise of Shawl and expressed condolences with the bereaved familes.

NC Provincial President, Jammu, Devender Singh Rana also expressed grief over the passing away of Shawl and described him as a dedicated, hardworking and affectionate human being.

Apni Party Media Advisor Farooq Andrabi also conveyed his condolences over the demise of Shawl and said, “The contributions made by Shawl to the Department of Information are immense as he was endowed with a visionary insight.”

He prayed for the eternal peace to the departed soul and expressed his sympathies with the bereaved family.

Peoples Democratic Front (PDF) Chairman Hakeem Yaseen also condoled the demise of Shawl and described himi as a noble soul and capable press and public relations officer.

Extending his condolences to the bereaved family, he prayed for the eternal peace to the departed soul.

Director Information and Public Relations (DIPR), Rahul Pandey also condoled the demise of Shawl.

In a condolence message, Pandey remembered him for his contribution to the department and offered his condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for the peace of the departed soul.

Joint Director Information and Public Relations, Kashmir division, Haris Ahmad Handoo also expressed grief over the demise of Shawl.

Handoo convened a condolence meeting in his office chamber to offer his condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for the peace to the departed soul.

Incharge Deputy Director, PR, Kashmir, Muhammad Aslam Khan while remembering the former deputy director said that Shawl was well-versed, qualified and a repository of knowledge who guided the Information department to new heights as a diversified department.

Meanwhile, the employees of the department while expressing grief over the demise of Shawl highlighted his role as an honest, compassionate and dynamic officer.
