Jammu Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) today organized the daylong program at Tarzoo, Sopore, the ancestral home of Muhammad Afzal Guru, to remember him on his sixth anniversary.
“Afzal was hanged to death in Tihar jail, Delhi on February 9, 2013 after a conspiracy was hatched against him,” a DFP spokesman said in a statement.
“Senior workers and office bearers of DFP raised banners and posters at the residence of Afzal Guru. They received the guests throughout the day who participated in the daylong program to remember Afzal Guru,” the spokesman said.
