Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) secretary general Moulana Abdullah Tari today paid rich tributes to Aali Kadal martyrs, saying "our nation is indebted to their sacrifices and they will always be remembered".
Praying for Aali Kadal martyrs including Sheikh Abdul Hameed, Advocate Jameel Chowdhary, Mushtaq Ahmad Lone, Fayaz Ahmad Sheikh, Mushtaq Ahmad Kutey, Manzoor Ahmad Bhat and Ghulam Muhammad Lone, Tari, in a statement today, said, "Shaheed Sheikh Abdul Hameed and his associated sacrificed their lives for a greater cause and we're duty-bound to continue our freedom struggle till we accomplish their mission."
Tari also paid tributes to Ghulam Nabi Bhat , brother of Muhammad Maqbool Bhat. He also remembered those children martyred during the last four months saying "our eyes are moist and we will not let their sacrifices go waste".
Meanwhile, Tari expressed deep grief over the death of an elderly civilian Ghulam Muhammad Khan of Elahi Bagh, Soura, who succumbed to his injuries in SKIMS on Thursday. Khan was hit by teargas shell on November 2 and was hospitalized since then.
