Director General of Police SP Vaid visited Pahalgam today and took stock of security and communication arrangements put in for AmarnathYatra.
The Jammu and Kashmir police chief was accompanied by Inspector General of Police SP Pani during the visit. The DGP was received by senior police officers deployed for yatra and jurisdictional officers.
The DGP Vaid visited the joint police control room and the wireless communications centre which has been established for AmarnathYatra. He took stock of the fast communication system placed in for Amarnathyatra at Pahalgam.
While interacting with the officers and policemen, the DGP emphasized on the working with synergy with all the departments and deployed forces. DGP also visited Police Station Pahalgam.
