Srinagar, Nov 24: Peoples Democratic Front (PDF) Chairman Hakeem Yaseen Wednesday urged the Centre to embark on the path of dialogue and reconciliation with all genuine stakeholders of Kashmir imbroglio to address its internal and external dimensions for the good of the people.

A statement of PDF issued here said that addressing the party workers of Budgam zone, Yaseen said that the prevailing political instability had badly retarded economic and developmental pace in Jammu and Kashmir.

He said that holding assembly elections to install a popular government was the need of the hour to provide the much-needed respite to the people from the bureaucratic neglect.

Yaseen said that the alienation among the people had increased manifold since J&K was downgraded into two union territories.

He urged the government to regularise services of all daily wagers, contractual and need-based workers in various government and public sector undertakings.
