Senior leader of opposition National Conference Ali Muhammad Sagar today said that the dialogue is the only way out to resolve Kashmir issue and "role of either Pakistan or India in it cannot be questioned by anyone."
Reacting to the statement of Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti, the Sagar who is also General Secretary of NC said "Pakistan has a role as the bilateral dialogue between the two countries has been going on since last 70 years."
"One part of Kashmir is also held by Pakistan and so no one can question the role of Pakistan. Equally India and the people of Kashmir have also a role. Dialogue is the only way out for lasting peace in Kashmir and rest of South Asia," he said.
He said the Omar Abdullah led delegation of the opposition parties was encourage to get "the encouraging response of the Prime Minister. "I again urge the Prime Minister to take immediate steps for stopping killings of civilian to promote peace and resumption of dialogue with both the separatists and as well as Pakistan. (KNS)
