Deputy Inspector General of police (DIG) CKR, Suleman Chaudhary on Saturday visited this district to review security scenario and implementation of lockdown.
An official said during the meeting, Senior Superintendentof Police, Ganderbal Khalil Ahmed Poswal made a power point presentation onmeasures taken to ensure lockdown, protection of administrative quarantinecentre and sealing of red zones.
Besides welfare measures taken for needy person and seniorcitizens through special help-lines and roping in of volunteers/NGOs for betterdelivery services was also discussed.
The SSP briefed the DIG that 23 cases have been registeredand 56 persons arrested for violating the lockdown orders.
