Deputy Inspector General of Police South Kashmir Amit Kumar, accompanied by SSP, Anantnag, Altaf Ahmad Khan held an interaction meeting with policemen of PS Kokernag and ‘Police Component’.
During the interaction, the DIG briefed the jawans regarding security measures for upcoming Municipal/Panchayat elections, a statement said.
He also held discussion with concerned DySP and SHO regarding the security scenario and the current law and order situation in the area.
