A Departmental Promotion Committee headed by Deputy Inspector General of Police NKR Atul Kumar Goel has promoted several officials to the next rank in the police department, a police spokesman said on Monday.
He said the committee comprising of SSP Baramulla Imtiyaz Hussain and others promoted 48 officials of executive police range NKR Baramulla. The promotees include 11 head constables and 37 Sg CTs.
