District Legal Service Authority (DLSA), Budgam today held awareness cum sensitization programme to prevent spread of pandemic corona virus at district court complex Budgam.
The programme was presided over by District Sessions and PrincipalJudge, Chairman DLSA, Raja Shujaat Ali. Speaking on occasion, Chairman DLSAsaid that there is no need to panic instead every person must follow theprescribed measures and guidelines to contain spread of disease. He impressedupon all employees and advocates working in the court must ensure proper handwash hygiene and follow WHO’s course of action in order to prevent gettingaffected as courts are visited by large number of people every day.
On the occasion, District Health Officer, AG Raina spokethreadbare on the covid-19 and explained on symptoms, preventive measures,treatment. Munsiff Judge, Secretary DLSA Tabasum Qadir Parray said that therewas urgent need of awareness about the disease as many local residents havereturned from affected countries. On the occasion, DLSA Budgam also distributedmasks and pamphlets among the staff and visiting persons for awareness andprevention of infection.
