DPM demands release of arrested leaders, youth

Democratic Political Movement (DPM) on Sunday demanded release of pro-freedom leaders, activists and youth who are lodged in different jails in Kashmir.

Democratic Political Movement (DPM) on Sunday demanded release of pro-freedom leaders, activists and youth who are lodged in different jails in Kashmir. 

In a statement, DPM spokesman, Yar Muhammad Khan expressed satisfaction over the release of the party chairman Advocate Muhammad Shafi Reshi. 

"The party chief was arrested on July 24 following the martyrdom of Burhan Wani and his associates on July 8 this year. He was later shifted to his residence where he was placed under house detention," he added.
