Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President Dr Farooq Abdullah on Friday expressed grief over the demise of noted politician, scholar and parliamentarian Mohammad Asrarul Haque Qasmi.
Dr Farooq while expressing grief said that Qasmi sahib worked relentlessly for the emancipation of Muslim community and his contribution is enormous to the field of education.
“Qasmi sahib dedicated his life for the cause of education and played a pivotal role in the establishment of various educational institutions. He served at various key posts and left an everlasting mark with his dedication and commitment. May almighty grant peace to his soul and strength to the bereaved family of his to bear the loss,” he said.
