Jammu and Kashmir National Conference president Dr. Farooq Abdullah on Sunday expressed sorrow over damages to sixty structures including fifty five houses in a snow avalanche in Khandyal, Gurez.
NC president impressed upon the district administration of Bandipura to recompense the losses to people and ensure that the exigencies arising after the avalanche incident are dealt with effectively. Meanwhile former deputy speaker LA and senior party leader Nazir Ahmad Khan Gurezi is in constant touch with the administration in ensuring the affected all possible help from the government.
DR FAROOQ, OMAR CONDOLE DEMISES
National Conference president Dr Farooq Abdullah and vice president Omar Abdullah have expressed grief over the demise of veteran party functionary Muhammad Maqbool Bhat of Prang Sumbal Sonawari.
The duo prayed for peace to the soul of deceased and strength to the grief stricken family to bear the loss. NC’s senior leader, former speaker Muhammad Akbar Lone also extended condolences to the grieved family and prayed for peace to the departed soul.
