Dr Ali Muhammad Rather passed away on Saturday at Rajbagh here.
The deceased has served health department on various positions including medical superintendent, CD Hospital and JLNM Rainawari. Later, he was Deputy Director Health. The deceased is survived by four daughters.
Family sources said there would be no Fatehkhani held and people have been appealed to pray for the deceased from their respective homes.
