A tanker driver was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Khudwani area of Kulgam district on Wednesday, police said.
The deceased has been identified as Partab Singh, son ofOmkar Singh of JigarKotli, Jammu.
“He was found dead inside his vehicle (Registration NoJK-02AV-1625) this morning at Khudwani along the new Srinagar-Jammu highway,”the police said.
He said the body was shifted to a nearby hospital fornecessary medico legal formalities.
“A case has been registered and investigations set intomotion to ascertain the cause of death,” said the official.
