EJAC, JKTF condole demise of Talib Hussain

Employees’ Joint Action Committee (EJAC) and Jammu and Kashmir Teachers’ Forum (JKTF), at a joint condolence meeting held here today with senior trade union leader Abdul Qayoom Wani in chair, expressed profound grief and sorrow over the demise of EJAC vice-president and Lecturer Forum senior leader Talib Hussain.

Employees' Joint Action Committee (EJAC) and Jammu and Kashmir Teachers' Forum (JKTF), at a joint condolence meeting held here today with senior trade union leader Abdul Qayoom Wani in chair, expressed profound grief and sorrow over the demise of EJAC vice-president and Lecturer Forum senior leader Talib Hussain. 

"The deceased was a courageous social worker, religious figure and a pious man. He was a visionary leader who worked tirelessly for the betterment and unity of the employees. He had made many great sacrifices for the teaching community and spent most of his time in struggling for the cause of employees of the state. He will always be remembered for his sacrifices. He was a close associate of EJAC president Abdul Qayoom Wani. The demise of Talib Hussain has left a great void in the trade unionism which is very difficult to be fulfilled," the speakers on the occasion said, paying rich tributes to the deceased. 

Soon after the meeting, the president EJAC Abdul Qayoom Wani left along with some other leaders left for Jammu to participate in the Nimaz-e Jinaza of the deceased.
