Srinagar, Nov 24: Employees Joint Action Committee Jammu Kashmir (EJAC) Wednesday welcomed the inauguration of the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) bench in Srinagar.

A statement of EJAC issued here quoted EJAC President Fayaz Ahmad Shabnam as saying that the opening of the CAT bench in the Kashmir division would be a huge relief to the employees of Kashmir.

He said that the employees had to suffer a lot to address their grievances in the Jammu division, especially in winters when the roads are mostly blocked and the air prices are skyrocketing.

Shabnam said that EJAC had continuously addressed this issue with the concerned authorities.

Expressing his gratitude to the administration, he urged it to resolve all other pending issues of the employees at the earliest so that they could heave a sigh of relief in these perilous times.
