A 60-year-old man was killed during a brawl in Aloosa Chechinara village of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Friday.
The deceased was identified as Muhammad Ishaq Chauhan, son of Mir Mohammad Chauhan, a resident of Chechinara Bandipora.
Reports said that he was critically injured in the brawl.
He was shifted to a hospital by his family for treatment where from he was shifted to a hospital in Srinagar.
However, he succumbed on the way.
A case FIR number 04/2018 under section 302 RPC was registered in Police Post Aloosa and investigation was taken up, said an official.
