A 60-year-old man was killed over a land dispute in Aloosa village of north Kashmir's Bandipora district on Sunday.
The deceased has been identified as Haji Abdul Rehman (60), son of Muhammad Sultan Dar, resident of Lahipora Aloosa.
Reports said that two families got involved in a scuffle over a land dispute involving their apple orchards today morning.
The deceased, they said, was hit by an iron rod during the scuffle.
A police official said that a case has been registered.
"One person has been arrested. Further investigation is going on," he said.
