Elected migrant councilors to work in Kashmir: BJP

BJP’s national vice president Avinash Rai Khanna on Sunday said that his party’s migrant councilors who been declared elected unopposed would work under government security.

BJP's national vice president Avinash Rai Khanna on Sunday said that his party's migrant councilors who been declared elected unopposed would work under government security.

Talking to a local news agency KNS Khanna said, "Local body elections show lotus is blooming in Kashmir as most of the BJP candidates have been declared elected unopposed."

He said the migrant Kashmiri Pandits who have won the elections on BJP tickets would work in Kashmir."

Asked about increasing proximity between National Conference and PDP for government formation in Jammu Kashmir, Khanna said, " We have no issues. Our agenda is peace and development and with people's cooperation our party  will work for peace and fast tracking development in Kashmir."
