Srinagar, May 12: An employee of Revenue department, who was shot at by terrorists as per police at Tehsil office Chadoora in central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Thursday afternoon, succumbed to his injuries.
A police spokesman said that the employee identified as Rahul Bhat was shot at by terrorists believed to be two in number with a pistol.
Bhat was shifted to SMHS Hospital Srinagar where he succumbed to his injuries, police said.
“The injured was immediately brought to SMHS Hospital, Srinagar for treatment where he #succumbed to his injuries. Preliminary investigation reveals that 02 terrorists are #involved in this #heinous crime & have used pistol for committing this crime, ” said the police spokesman.
