J&K state Congress President GA Mir has emphasized upon Governor’s administration to take stock of situation in the Valley arising out of fresh snowfall to address concerns of people.
He said the snowfall has added more problems to the people in valley due to inadequate supply of essentials and breakdown of electricity. Expressing serious concern over difficulties confronting people Mir asked the administration to gear up the district authorities to ensure clearance of roads, availability of electricity and essentials.
The upper reaches of the Valley are still disconnected, he said, and sought immediate redress grievances of people. “The first thing that the administration needs to do is to ensure restoration of road connectivity to all parts of Kashmir including remote areas,” Mir said. “Restoration of power supply is must in this situation.”
