Hajipir Brigade organised an ex-servicemen meet at Trehgam garrison in Kupwara, an Army spokesman said in a statement.
He said the meet was attended by 237 veterans and 12 veer naris from each accessible corner of Kupwara, including Chowkibal and Lolab.
He said that the veterans and veer naris were provided transport from remote villages of Kupwara to the venue.
The spokesman said Lt Col Ghulam Hassan Nath ZSWO addressed the attendees followed by a interactive and speech by Commander Hajipir Brigade. He said informal interaction was held with the participants for betterment of Kupwara district.
