Senior Congress leader Saifuddin Soz Saturday claimed that the available facts prove that Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, asked US President Donald Trump to mediate on Kashmir issue.
“The video of Trump’s meeting with Pakistan Prime MinisterImran Khan in the White House on 22 and 23 July has gone viral. In the video,Trump confirms that Modi asked him to mediate on the Kashmir issue during theirmeeting at Osaka, Japan on 28 June,” Soz said in a statement.
He added, “During the joint press conference with PakistanPM, Trump had emphasized that he would love to mediate on Kashmir, if the twocountries asked him for it.”
