Srinagar Oct 31: National Conference President Dr Farooq Abdullah Sunday visited the family of Ghulam Rasool Leharwal, former Chief Engineer R&B who passed away recently, at their residence at Baghe-Mehtab in uptown Srinagar.
As per a party spokesman, Farooq also condoled with Executive Editor ‘Greater Kashmir’ Arif Shafi Wani and his brother Adil Wani as the deceased was their uncle.He also offered Fateha.
Later, Dr Farooq Abdullah also visited the residence of Dr Showkat Zargar and expressed condolences with him on the demise of his father. He prayed for peace to the departed soul and strength to the family to bear the irreparable loss.
