Jammu and Kashmir Police Chief Dilbag Singh on Wednesday identified the two militants killed in a gunfight with the forces in Fateh Kadal as Mehraj ud Din Bangroo and Faid Mushtaq Waza.
Talking to reporters after the wreath-laying ceremony of a cop killed in the Fateh Kadal gunfight, Singh said the two militants killed in the gunfight were identified as Mehraj ud Din Bangroo of Fateh Kadal and Faid Mushtaq Waza of Khanyar.
He said the fourth person killed in the gunfight was also a militant. “His identity is being ascertained,” he said.
However, reports said that he was a son of the house owner. They identified him as Rayees.
