A guard room outside the residential quarter of a senior police officer at Tulsibagh in Srinagar caught fire Wednesday night, reports said.
Quoting official sources, news agency GNS said that fire erupted at the guard room, housing SSB troopers, late last night, causing panic in the area.
Fire tenders were rushed to the spot to douse the flames, it said.
