Senior Hurriyat Conference (G) leader and Chairman Jammu Kashmir National Front (NF) Nayeem Ahmad Khan today stressed upon people to firmly hold the torch of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) whose great sacrifice will always serve as a guide to mankind in all sorts of oppression and suppression.
In his message, Khan said, "Hazrat Imam Hussian (RA) did not surrender his principles. Instead he and his great companions fought the Yazidi ideology and set practical example for all the believers as how to counter the tyranny and repression of Yazidiat."
Meanwhile, Khan condemned the damaging of property of the people in Kulgam and Budgam villages by forces. "Setting ablaze paddy stores, smashing vehicles, ransacking households and beating even elderly seems to be the part of operation against Kashmiri Muslims started on the behest of fascist forces," he said.
Khan expressed solidarity with the people of Khudwani, Qaimoh, Hawoora, Mishpora and praised their freedom sentiment. He also condemned the forces for allegedly damaging private property including residential houses in Narbal areas including Chek Kawoosa and adjoining villages.
"Such incidents are enough to vindicate our stance that New Delhi is not bothered about the population of Kashmir instead it is interested in the land only," he said expressing solidarity with the parents of slain Muzaffar Ahmad of Chek Kawoosa who succumbed to his pellet injuries at SKIMS.
