Forces conduct searches in north Kashmir village

Government forces on Thursday launched a cordon and search operation in Thayen Kalaroos area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

“CASO was launched in Thayen Kalaroos following inputs about the presence of militants,” said DySP headquarter Yasir Parrey.

Last week, a militant Zahoor Ahmad from the same area Thayen Kalaroos was killed in a shootout at Khumriyal.
