Bandipora: Director General of Police (DGP) Dilbag Singh on Saturday said that there was a "strong emotion towards service of people" among security personnel, which he said, found reflection during the rescue operation launched after the cloudburst hit the Amarnath cave shrine.

The DGP was talking to media persons in Shadipora transit camp for Amarnath pilgrims in north Kashmir's Bandipora district where he was to take stock of the security arrangements.

DGP said that the arrangements everywhere were very good. Singh said,

“We are here to check the arrangements related to Yatra. Yesterday I visited the holy cave, Panchtarni and today we have come by Manigam and have reached Shadipora. Everywhere the arrangements are very good, and our officers from police along with CAPF, and civil authorities are making the Yatra experience smooth.”
