Government forces on Tuesday launched a cordon-and-search-operation (CASO) in Mogulpur village of south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Tuesday.
A police official said that the aarmy personnel of 44 RR, CRPF and SOG men laid a siege around the Mogupur village following inputs about the presence of militants.
A door to door search operation has been launched, he said.
The search operation was going on till the last reports came.
