Government forces on Monday launched a cordon and search operation in Hajin locality of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
Reports said a joint team of Army’s 13 RR unit, SOG of Jammu and Kashmir Police and 45 BN CRPF launched the operation in Mir Mohalla locality.
He said the operation was launched following inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
A senior police official said the operation was a routine exercise.
