Government forces on Friday launched cordon and search operation at Cheribugh village in Tral township of Pulwama district.
According to the locals searches were carried out many times in the area. “Forces had sealed all the entry and exit points.
People from many adjoining villages could not move out due to heavy deployment of forces in the area,” a resident said.
The operation however was over after no contacted was established with militants, an official said.
