Militant outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba on Saturday alleged that forces are using “chemical weapons” in Jammu and Kashmir.
“Forces are using chemical weapons thereby committing severe war crimes in Jammu Kashmir. Use of such tactics is immoral and unethical,” LeT spokesman, Dr Abdullah Ghaznawi quoted the outfit chief, Mahmood Shah as having said in a statement to a local news agency KNS.
Shah said, “The way in which Mukhtar Ahmed from Budgam and Muhammad Amin from Pampore were killed substantiates our claim that chemical weapons were used by the forces. Use of chemical weapons is a challenge for the United Nations and international human rights organizations. If forces and their ruthless mechanism are not put to stop it would prove international community has no value for human lives.”
