Four activists ‘resign’ from BJP in Budgam after attack on party worker

Hours after a BJP member was shot at by suspected militants in Ompora area of Budgam on Sunday, four workers of the party have reportedly resigned, even as the district president of the BJP said he will talk to them.

A 38-year-old BJP worker, identified as Abdul Hamid Najar was attacked today morning while he was out on a morning walk. He was injured in the attack.

   

Official sources told Greater Kashmir that four workers of the BJP from Budgam office forwarded their letters of resignation to SSP Budgam and District President Budgam BJP. 

Budgam BJP president Aga Mohsin while taking to Greater Kashmir said the letters of resignations of four BJP workers are circulating on WhatsApp. “I will talk to them regarding their resignation, let me have a word with them, as currently I am attending the injured BJP worker at SMHS hospital,” he said.
