Four members of a family were injured after a deranged man attacked them with a sharp knife in Chek Jameel Meer of Pattan area in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district late last night.
The injured were identified as Farooq Ahmad Dar S/o Abdul Khaliq, Ali Mohammad Dar S/o Mohd Subhan Dar, Nazir Ahmad Dar S/o Abdul Khaliq, Abdul Khaliq Dar S/o Habibullah Dar.
Reports said the injured were taken to Pattan hospital where doctors after initial treatment shifted Farooq Ahmad and Abdul Khaliq to Srinagar in critical condition.
Other injured are being treated at Pattan hospital and their condition is stated to be stable.
Police has registered a case and launched an investigation, said an official.
