Four teachers terminated for unauthorized absence from duty in Kashmir

Two of the suspended teachers are women, who had been posted in north Kashmir's Baramulla while the remaining two were posted in Ganderbal and Anantnag districts.

Srinagar, Nov 21: The Jammu and Kashmir School Education Department has terminated services of four teachers including two females from north Kashmir's Baramulla for their unauthorized absence from their duties.

As per separate termination orders issued to this effect by the Director of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) on Saturday, the four teachers were given opportunities to explain their absence from duties, however the teachers' reply was found to be "unsatisfactory and unsubstantiated".

Two of the suspended teachers are women, who had been posted in north Kashmir's Baramulla while the remaining two were posted in Ganderbal and Anantnag districts.
