Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President G A Mir has congratulated the winning candidates in Panchayat elections in the valley, especially the candidates of Dooru, Devsar and elsewhere in south Kashmir.
The JKPCC president expressed satisfaction over the participation of people in panchayat elections. Commenting on the 6th phase of panchayat elections that has come to an end today he said that despite the unfavorable situation prevailing in the Valley the candidates participated in the electoral process to ensure development of their respective areas and people as well. “Congress will do everything to strengthen the democratic Institutions and it will fight against the elements eroding the authority of democratic Institutions to serve their vested interests,” Mir said.
