General Officer Commanding, 15 Corps, Lieutenant General BS Raju called on the Lieutenant Governor (LG), Girish Chandra Murmu at Raj Bhavan here on Monday.
It was the maiden meeting of Lt Gen Rajuwith the LG after taking over the charge. The LG and the GoC discussed variousissues relating to the security management in Jammu and Kashmir.
The LG appreciated the army’s sustainedsupport to the civil administration and police and emphasized the vitalimportance of regularly reviewing the security of all protected premises toensure safe and secure environment for people.
