Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satya Pal Mailk has congratulated InderjeetKesar and Mushtaq Ahmed Mushtaq (Tantray) for being conferred with the prestigious SahityaAkademi annual award for the year 2018.
Kesar has received the award for his Dogri novel “BHAGIRATH” while Mushtaq Ahmed Mushtaq has got the award for his collection of eighteen short stories “AAKH” in Kashmiri language.
Governor has greeted the awardees and wished them every success in all their future endeavours.
Advisor to Governor Khursheed Ahmed Ganaie, Secretary Cultural Academy Dr Aziz Hajini, Secretary Information Sarmad Aziz and Director Information Tariq Ahmad Zarger also felicitated both the SahityaAkademi awardees of the state and have desired that both the personalities would leave no stone unturned in achieving awards of such kind in future as well.
