Grenade lobbed at former lawmaker’s residence in Pulwama

Suspected militants threw a grenade at the residence of a former lawmaker in Murran area of south Kashmir's Pulwama district on Sunday afternoon.

A police official that at around 5 pm suspected militantshurled a grenade towards the residence of Ghulam Mohidin Mir.

"The grenade exploded after hitting the compound wallwith a defeaning boom, causing no injuries or loss of life", the officialadded.
