A gunfight broke out between militants and security forces in Tujjar area of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Tuesday.
According to news agency GNS a joint team of Police, Army and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation in Tujjar.
As the joint team of forces approached the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon the forces, triggering off a gunfight.
As per the sources, two to three militants are believed to be trapped in the area.
