Srinagar July 11: Police on Monday said a gunfight broke out between terrorists and security forces in Wandakpora area of Awantipora in south Kashmir's Pulwama district.
"Encounter has started at Wandakpora area of #Awantipora. Police and security forces are on the job. Further details shall follow, " a police spokesman said.
The gunfight is believed to have broken out soon after security forces cordoned the area following a tip off.
