Srinagar June 16: A gunfight broke out between terrorists and security forces in Kokernag area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Thursday afternoon, police said.
“Encounter has started at Hangalgund, #Kokernag area of #Anantnag. Police and security forces are on the job. Further details shall follow, ” a police spokesman said.
The gunfight broke out soon after security forces cordoned the area following specific inputs.
