Srinagar June 29: A gunfight broke out between terrorists and security forces in Nawapora, Mir Bazar area in south Kashmir's Kulgam district on Wednesday afternoon, police said.
"Encounter has started at Nawapora, Mir Bazar in #Kulgam district. Police & security forces are on the job. Further details shall follow, " a police spokesman said.
The encounter started soon after the security forces cordoned the area following a tip off.
